Volunteer
How You Can Make A Difference
Volunteers are
very important in helping us carry out our mission. They fill a need that would
otherwise have to be performed by paid staff. Volunteers
help Spenser's Legacy spend its money where it matters–on
the animals.
What You Can Do
We need volunteers to help in the "Feline
Facility" feeding, watering, scooping, cleaning and,
most importantly, socializing with the animals. There are
other animals we could use help with if you prefer: birds,
horses, dogs, bunnies. Just let us know how
you want to help!
Other Help Needed
We
need volunteers to help build simple pens for
the chickens, ducks, and geese before the winter season hits.
Know-how isn't as important so much as having an extra pair of
hands to help. We'll also be needing help to put up more
fences for the dogs. And if anyone can help cutting down
some large limbs from trees that blew down in the last
storm, we could use help there as well.
No
matter how you decide to volunteer, Spenser's Legacy needs
the support of generous and caring people to donate their
time in order for us to continue our rescue efforts. For
